Human vs Google

I spent this weekend in Baroda with my brother & family. Today we wanted to visit the Regional Transport Office to renew my driving license. Both of us know the place but haven’t been there in 10 odd years. Obviously a lot has changed around it and to be on a safer side my brother punched the address into google maps on his smartphone. So for sometime the directions were accurate but then we got into a jam and had to find an alternative route. Google maps couldn’t help so I promptly put my window down and asked a road side ‘tea stall’ for the directions. He was accurate to the T and much faster than accessing Google Maps. We reached the RTO in no time taking a much shorter route. So for me human navigator worked better than Google. 🙂
