I heard the terrible news of Rohinton Maloo passing away during the terror attack. I didn’t know him too well but he was very well known in the industry when I started working. He was sitting next to me in the month of March when we both spoke on Exchange4Media Conclave 2008 in Bangalore. He joked quite a bit through the evening and that how I will remember him. May his soul rest in peace.

I salute Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who died while fighting the terrorists & saving men under his command. That’s the spirit of Indian Army & its officers. I feel ashamed that we don’t do enough to acknowledge that & give our love & warmth to the families who make these brave men. As a nation we’re more focused on celebrating cricketers, film stars and politically connected forces rather than celebrating real heros.
